11/04/22 - Second Carambola Surf House Dominican Republic Surf and Serve

Join Surfing in the Sixties on their November trip to Carambola Surf House in the Dominican Republic for a Surf & Serve travel experience. On this trip you will have top notch accommodations, dine on 3 family-style meals per day, and enjoy a continental breakfast before your morning paddle out. The daily schedule typically includes a continental breakfast served at sunrise, an early morning surf session at a local break, and then a full breakfast on the property afterwards. The daily agenda will vary based on swell reports and scheduled activities which include a surf contest, medical clinic, and other work at the orphanage. One daily activity includes a trip to a well-known local break (can't say names), followed by a delicious lunch served in the sand overlooking the ocean. There will be opportunities for yoga sessions and massages throughout your stay for an additional fee. For the service portion of the trip, Surfing in the Sixties is partnering with the Niños de la Luz boys school where travelers will work together on a project to support their mission as well as hosting a medical clinic for the locals. A majority of people living in the remote areas of the Dominican Republic have very limited access to healthcare, and we anticipate this will be a highly attended event.
